What is it that you’re working on and what do you hope it will become? (eg. rough drawings for a full-colour picture book; the first in a non-fiction series; a science-fiction novel for young adults, etc.)

Please describe your hopes for your work. These can be anything from ‘I would like to record my childhood story for future generations of my family’, to ‘I hope to see the title of my book brandished on the side of buses the world over’.

Please attach your submission here. Please attach as a PDF, Word document or ZIP archive. This is what you’ll need to send:

For picture books: As much as you have in the way of text and illustrations and a very brief synopsis.
For fiction: We will need to see three chapters or the equivalent in pages (preferably the opening ones, though we understand that these aren’t necessarily the first to emerge) and a brief synopsis – just a couple of paragraphs will do fine.
For non-fiction: We will need to see three chapters or equivalent in pages or a proposal and, if you have one, a short sample of your writing.
